COX, Joshua F., a Representative from Cambria and Somerset Counties; born, 1806 in Maryland; attorney; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1834-1835 and 1835-1836 terms; reelected to the House to serve the 1838-1839 and 1841 terms; delegate, Anti-Masonic State Convention (1832); vice president, Democratic State Convention (1847); died, September 18, 1850 in Bedford, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
