WITHROW, David, a Representative from Mifflin County; born in Mifflin County, Pa., March 28, 1820; private, Company I, 92nd Regiment, 9th Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry (1861-1862, Civil War); master miller; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1859 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1860 term; dry goods merchant; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Beaver Dam Mills, Pa. (1865-1868); farmer; died, March 8, 1887 in McVeytown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
