DAVIS, Austin, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, October 4, 1989 in Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, McKeesport Area High School, 2008; B.A., political science, University of Pittsburgh, 2012; executive assistant, Executive Office, Allegheny County; vice chair, board of commissioners, Allegheny County Housing Authority; vice chair, Allegheny County Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on January 23, 2018; Sworn-In, February 5, 2018 to serve the remaining 2017 term; reelected to the House to serve the 2019, 2021 and 2023 terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2019-2020); appointed, board of directors, Port Authority of Allegheny County (2019-2022); appointed, board of trustees, Point Park University (2020-present); resigned from the House prior to Swearing-In, December 7, 2022; elected, Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania (2023-present).
