STANBARGER, Charles C., a Representative from Mifflin County; born, May of 1825 in Pennsylvania; Innkeeper; elected, sheriff, Lewistown (1860-1864); elected as a Union Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1864 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1865 term; director, Juniata Valley Fire Insurance Company (1870); elected, National Liberal Republican Convention (1872); president, Stanbarger Flouring Mill (1872-1874); proprietor, grocery store; died, June 20, 1909 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Marks Cemetery, Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
