BAKER, Ephraim, a Representative from Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin Counties; born in Springfield, Huntingdon County, Pa., December 21, 1825; private, Company O, 28th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1862, Civil War); corporal, 147th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862, Civil War); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1866 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1867 term; died, January 27, 1875 in Meadow Gap, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Baker Family Cemetery, Meadow Gap, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
