BROWN, James M., a Representative from Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin Counties; born in Armagh Township, Mifflin County, Pa., March 21, 1818; farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1866 and 1867 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1868 term; died, April 26, 1896 in Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas; interred, Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas.
