CRAWFORD, Patricia Ann, a Representative from Chester County; born in Middletown, Dauphin County, Pa., September 6, 1928; graduated, Murphy High School (Alabama); attended, Keystone Business School; attended, West Chester State College (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); legal secretary; employed, Blue Cross; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1969 term and served 3 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for 1977 term; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Treasurer (1976); appointed, Govner's Commission on Women (1976-1977); appointed, Deputy Secretary of the Commonwealth (1978-1986); member, Republican State Committee (1979-1980); gubernatoial appointee, Pennsylvania Crime Victim's Compensation Board and the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement Board (1981-1982); died, February 11, 2008 in Leesburg, Cumberland County, New Jersey; interred, Saint Luke Evangelical Luthern Church Memorial Garden, Devon, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
