ROTHMAN, William Gregory, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, December 10, 1966 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pa.; graduated, Cumberland Valley High School, 1985; B.S., political science, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, 1989; M.S., valedictorian, real estate, Johns Hopkins University, 2005; staff sergeant, United States Marine Corps (1991-2001; Operation Desert Storm); co-founder, Harrisburg Young Professionals; agent, president and CEO, RSR Realtors (1989-present); presidential appointee, National Veterans Business Development Corporation board; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2008, 2016); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, August 4, 2015; Sworn-In, August 25, 2015 to serve the remaining 2015 term; reelected to the House for 3 more consecutive terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2019-2020); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (2023-present).
