MYERS, Michael Joseph “Ozzie,” a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., May 4, 1943; attended, Bishop Neumann High School; graduated, Bok Vocational School; Steamship Checker, Local 1242 International Longshoremen’s Association; 2nd Vice-Chair, 39th Ward Democratic Executive Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1970, 1972 and 1974; appointed, Special Committee to Review Juvenile Unrest and Gang Wars in the Philadelphia Area (1973-1974); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1976); elected, United States Congress (November 2, 1976-October 2, 1980, expelled).
