KELLY, James Bennett, III, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., May 28, 1941; B.S., Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech), 1963; Bachelors of Foreign Trade, ASU Thunderbird School of Global Management, 1964; campaign aide and special assistant, United States Representative and Senator Richard Schweiker; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1970; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1976); unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1976); employee, Dravo Engineers; Deputy Assistant Secretary, United States Department of Commerce (1985-1989); vice-president, International, BDM; founder, president & CEO, SynXis; president & CEO, Flight Explorer.
