SANTONI, Dante, Jr., a Representative from Berks County; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., September 1, 1960; graduated, Muhlenberg High School, 1978; B.S., accounting, Villanova University, 1982; field representative and loan officer, SE Farm Credit Services (1982-1983); finance director and township secretary, Muhlenberg Township (1984-1992); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1993 term; reelected to 9 more consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Legislative Audit Advisory Commission (1997-2008); appointed, Select Committee on Alternatives for the Operation of the Philadelphia International Airport (2000); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2012); Pennsylvania director, Purple Strategies (2013-2017); appointed, commissioner, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (2017-2020); elected, commissioner, Berks County (2024-present).
