YUDICHAK, John T., a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Wilkes-Barre,  Luzerne County, Pa., May 1, 1970; graduated, Greater Nanticoke Area High School, 1988; B.A., English, The Pennsylvania State University, 1993; M.A., American Studies, The Pennsylvania State University, 2004; development director, Osterhout Free Library, Wilkes-Barre; aide, United States Congressman Paul Kanjorski; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1998; reelected to serve 5 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, board, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (2009-2010); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2010); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (2011-2022); elected, Minority Caucus Administrator (2015-2016); appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and  Conservation Committee (2011-2020); appointed, board, Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) (2011-2020); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (2017-2020); senior advisor, GSL Public Strategies Group (2022-present).
