GLEESON, Francis E., Jr., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., November 25, 1937; graduated, La Salle High School; A.B., La Salle College, 1959; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1962; served, United States Army Reserve (1962-1968); attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1969 term and served 4 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1979 term; stand-up comedian; died, February 17, 2015 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Dominic Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
