YEAGER, James Martin, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, November 2, 1857 in Yeagerstown, Mifflin County, Pa.; graduated, Wyoming Seminary; D.D, Wesleyan University; Reverend, churches in New York and Massachusetts; president, Drew Seminary (7 years); school commissioner, Putnam County, NY (3 years); traveling lecturer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1906; resigned from the House, December 7, 1907; appointed, United States Marshal, Central Pennsylvania district; died, January 13, 1930; interred, Mount Rock Cemetery, Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
