Lester, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, September 5, 1872 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Oh.; attended, Bellefonte Academy; quarry superintendent; proprietor, quarry business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1924; reelected and served 4 consecutive terms thereafter; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934, 1936, 1940); died in 1946; interred, Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
