MELIO, Anthony Joseph, a Representative from Bucks County; born, May 13, 1932 in Trenton, Mercer County, NJ; graduated, Trenton Central High School; attended The Pennsylvania State University, Government Management Training; served, United States Naval Reserve (1949-1959); steelworker; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1987 term; reelected to the House for 11 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee on Pharmaceuticals (2000); appointed, Select Committee on Public Education Funding (2001-2002); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2010); died, July 19, 2012 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Mary's Cemetery, Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey.
