URITIS, George A., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pa., April 4, 1936; graduated, Wyoming Seminary, 1953; B.S., University of Notre Dame, 1957; M.S., University of Notre Dame, 1960; stock broker; co-owner, Shen-Heights Television Cable Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1967 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1969 term; elected, register of wills and clerk of the Orphans Court, Schuylkill County (1980-2008).
