MURRAY, Harvey P., Jr., a Representative from Snyder and Union Counties; born in Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pa., June 28, 1934; graduated, Selinsgrove High School, 1940; B.S., University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance and Commerce; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania; attended, University of Dublin Law School (1958-1959); attended, American University School of Government and Public Administration; served, United States Army (1959); served, United States Army Reserves; elected, council, Selinsgrove; member, Snyder County Young Republicans; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, November 5, 1963; Sworn-In on December 4, 1963 to serve the remaining 1963 term; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1968, 1976); attorney; elected, solicitor, Selinsgrove (1970-1974); co-owner, East Snyder Pharmacy.
