MAACK, Herbert Raymond, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, May 23, 1924 in Batavia, Genesee County, NY; graduated, Mount Hermon High School; B.S., Lehigh University; first lieutenant, Combat Engineers, United States Army (1943-1946, World War II); manufacturer; elected, Pottstown School Board (1953-1957); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1965 and 1967 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1969 term; died, December 14, 1995 in Marco Island, Collier County, Florida; interred, Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
