B., a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Altoona, Blair County, Pa., February 19, 1945; graduated, Altoona Senior High School, 1963; B.S., physics, Juniata College, 1967; M.S., physics/math, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, 1970; computer network consultant; research scientist, Armstrong World Industries; college instructor, Indiana University of Pennsylvania; science teacher, Altoona School District; research analyst, National Bureau of Standards, Fire Engineering; plant engineer and manager, Kellogg’s Company; elected, supervisor, Rapho Township; elected, judge of elections, Union Square (10 years); school board member, Manheim Christian Day School; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2000; reelected to serve 5 more terms; appointed, Local Government Commission (2011-2012); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2012); died, July 24, 2022 in Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
