LAIN, Joseph W., Sr., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., June 8, 1924; graduated, Northeast Catholic High School; attended, Dobbins Evening School; registered master plumber; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1967 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1969 term; died, July 13, 2009 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
