HIPPEL, Elwood H., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., October 2, 1919; graduated, Northeast High School; attended, Temple University Evening School; production and control manager; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election on April 28, 1964; Sworn-In on June 16, 1964 to serve the remaining 1963 term; reelected to the House for the 1967 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1965 and 1969 terms; died, January 1, 2005 in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
