CLARKE, James F., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., November 26, 1918; graduated, University of Pittsburgh; LL.B., University of Pittsburgh School of Law; first sergeant, First Aircraft Assembly Squadron, Air Corps, United States Army (1941-1945, African, European and Middle East campaigns, World War II); attorney; member, 4th Ward, 19th District, Democratic Committee; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1958 and was elected to 4 consecutive terms thereafter; resigned from the House, February 8, 1968; elected, prothonotary, Allegheny County (1968-1971); judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Allegheny County (1971-1994); died, November 26, 1994 in North Hills, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
