BLAIR, Stanley Leon, a Representative from Erie County; born, October 8, 1906 in Albion, Erie County, Pa.; graduated, Albion High School; car inspector, Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1948; reelected and served for 9 more consecutive terms; appointed, Local Government Commission (1963-1966); appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1967-1968); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1968); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1972); died in March of 1979; interred at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
