Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pa., 1961; graduated, Connellsville Area High School, 1979; B.S., mathematics, Liberty University, 1984; Distinguished Graduate, United States Naval Officers Candidate School; J.D., University of Pittsburgh Law School, 1992; lieutenant and surface warfare officer, United States Navy; of counsel, Strassberger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky; solicitor, Westmoreland County Republican Committee; elected to  the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 2008; reelected to the House in 2010, 2012 and 2014; appointed, Select Committee on Property Tax Reform (2012); resigned from the House, January 3, 2016; elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Westmoreland County (2016-present).
