SANTARSIERO, Steven J., a Representative from Bucks County; born in Montclair, Essex County, NJ, 1965; graduated, Verona High School, 1983; B.A., history, Tufts University, 1987; J.D., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1992; M.Ed., Holy Family University, 2006; former associate, Carpenter Bennett & Morrissey; former associate, Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling; teacher, Bensalem Township School District; former supervisor, Lower Makefield Township; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 2008 and was reelected to 3 more consecutive terms; appointed, Local Government Commission (2011-2012); appointed, Public Private Transportation Partnership Board (2012-present); elected, delegate, Democratic National Convention (2012); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2016); unsuccessful campain, United States Congress (2016); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (2019-present); appointed, Joint Legislative Conservation Committee (2021-present).
