POLLOCK, Dr. Joseph, a Representative from Beaver County; born, 1788; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1834-1835 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Moravian, Pa. (1833); appointed, canal commissioner (1842); died, 1856 in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greenwood Cemetery, New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
