RAHN, Jacob, a Representative from Berks and Schuylkill Counties; born, July 16, 1757 in Exeter Township, Berks County, Pa.; private, 7th Company, 2nd Battalion, Pennsylvania Militia (1777-1778, Revolutionary War); ensign, 7th Company, 1st Battalion, Pennsylvania Militia (1778-1780, Revolutionary War); farmer; reverend; elected as an Old School candidate to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1820-1821 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1821); died, October 11, 1823 in Ontelaunee Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint John’s Gernants Cemetery, Leesport, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
