GRIESEMER, Jacob Hechler, a Representative from Berks and Schuylkill Counties; born, March 12, 1773 in Oley Township, Berks County, Pa.; farmer; mill owner and operator; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1817-1818 and 1818-1819 terms; died, December 8, 1834 in Oley Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oley Cemetery, Oley Township, Berks County; Pennsylvania.
