PELTZ, Richard, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, October 1, 1795 in Passyunk (now Philadelphia), Philadelphia County, Pa.; elected, assessor, Philadelphia County (1823); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1830-1831, 1831-1832 and 1834-1835 terms; elected, treasurer, Philadelphia County (1844); died, February 25, 1847 in Southwark (now Philadelphia), Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
