TAGGART, Thomas, a Representative from Lycoming, McKean and Potter Counties; born, March 4, 1777 in Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1834-1835 and 1835-1836 terms; elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1837-1838); appointed, associate judge, Lycoming County (1841-1850); died, March 12, 1864 in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Muncy Cemetery, Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
