TYSON, Benjamin, a Representative from Berks County; born, October 8, 1804 in Montgomery County, Pa.; coal merchant; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 and 1833-1834 terms; elected, prothonotary, Berks County  (1839-1842); engaged, real estate; died, June 1, 1865 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
