IRISH, Jedaiah, a Representative from Northampton, Pike and Wayne Counties; born, 1797 in Pennsylvania; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1833-1834 and 1834-1835 term; elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1835); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1849); surveyor; died, 1871 in Shickshinny, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
