DANIEL, Adam, a Representative from Northampton, Pike and Wayne Counties; born, October 30, 1781 in Allen Township, Northampton County, Pa.; farmer; justice of the peace; unsuccessful campaign, sheriff, Northampton County (1814); unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Northampton County (1816); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1833-1834 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1834); died, April 12, 1858 in Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Nazareth Moravian Cemetery, Nazareth, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
