GROSS, John E., a Representative from Montgomery County; born, 1795 in Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1831-1832, 1832-1833 and 1833-1834 terms; manager, Perkiomen and Reading Turnpike (1866-1867); died, November 5, 1870 in Trappe, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Augustus Lutheran Church Cemetery, Trappe, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
