SABATINA, John Patrick, Jr., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Abington, Montgomery County, Pa., October 6, 1970; graduated, Father Judge High School, 1988; B.S., marketing, West Chester University of Pennsylvania, 1992; J.D., Widener University School of Law, 1997; Assistant District Attorney, Philadelphia; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on March 14, 2006; Sworn-In, April 3, 2006 to serve the remaining 2005 term; reelected to serve 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing (2011-2014); resigned from the House, June 9, 2015; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (June 9, 2015-2021). elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia (2022-present).
