BOYD, Wallace, a Representative from Chester County; born, 1742 in Pennsylvania; farmer; unsuccessful campaign, auditor, Chester County (1810); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Black Horse (1816-1827); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1818-1819 term; reelected to the House for the 1821-1822 and 1822-1823 terms; died, November 25, 1827 in Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sadsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
