PARKE, John G., a Representative from Chester County; born, November 21, 1761; farmer; landowner; unsuccessful campaign, director of the poor, Chester County (1800, 1801); elected, director of the poor, Chester County (1802); elected, commissioner, Chester County (1805); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1818-1819 term; died, October 25, 1837 in Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sadsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
