PARKER, John, Jr., a Representative from Chester County; born, September 20, 1786 in Pennsylvania; farmer; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Taylor’s Cross Roads (1828); elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1834-1835, 1835-1836 and 1836-1837 terms; director, Chester County Bank; died, April 9, 1857 in Pennsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Parkersville Friends Burying Ground, Pennsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
