(1834); unsuccessful campaign, Indiana State Senate (1842); owner and editor, Louisville Weekly Democrat (1845-1848); lawyer; judge, Supreme Court, Indiana (1847-1853); died, January 23, 1875 in New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana; interred, Fairview Cemetery, New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana.
