PATTERSON, Robert, a Representative of Fayette County; unsuccessful campaign, sheriff, Fayette County (1817); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1831-1832, 1832-1833 and 1834-1835 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1833-1834, 1835-1836 terms; elected, delegate, National Democratic Convention (1837).
