GRELL, Glen R., a Representative from Cumberland County; born in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pa., December 28, 1956; graduated, Cumberland Valley High School, 1974; B.A., Johns Hopkins University, 1978; J.D., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1981; deputy general counsel, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge (1995-2000); attorney; solicitor, Hampden Township (2000-2004); member, Joint State Government Commission Advisory Committee on Real Property Law (2004); vice chair, Shippensburg University Council of Trustees; member, Hampden Township Republican Committee; deputy chair and vice chair, Cumberland County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 2005 term; reelected for 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Information Security (2006); appointed, Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform (2007); appointed, board, Public School Employees Retirement System (2009-2015); resigned from the House, April 30, 2015; executive director, Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System (May 2, 2015-2022); trustee, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania (2016-present).
