LONG, John, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, November 14, 1788 in Lancaster County, Pa.; sickle mill proprietor and manufacturer; elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830 and 1830-1831 terms; died, December 14, 1855 in Drumore Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, New Chestnut Level Presbyterian Cemetery, Quarryville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
