GRIM, Jesse, a Representative from Lehigh County; born, November 5, 1794 in Macungie, Lehigh County, Pa.; farmer; elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1833-1834 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1834); elected, commissioner, Lehigh County (1844); elected, director of the poor, Lehigh County (1845, 1858); builder; owner, Eagle Hotel, Allentown; director and treasurer, Porter Township school district (1882); died, January 19, 1890 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union-West End Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
