YOUNG, Robert, a Representative of Huntingdon County; elected, auditor, Huntingdon County (1817); joiner and cabinet maker; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1818-1819 term; unsuccessful reelection campaign to the House (1819, 1820, 1822); elected, coroner, Huntingdon County (1821); died, January 25, 1826 in Shirleysburg, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
