DENLINGER, Gordon R., a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pa., July 16, 1963; graduated, High Point Baptist Academy, 1981; B.S., accounting, Bob Jones University, 1985; Certified Public Accountant; assistant controller, Newell Rubbermaid Graco Children’s Products Division; controller, Sharp Shopper, Inc.; member, Lancaster County Republican Committee; member, East Lancaster County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election held on March 18, 2003 to serve the remaining 2003 term; Sworn-In, April 7, 2003 and was reelected to serve 5 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (2014); elected, alternate delegate, Republican National Convention (2008); unsuccessful campaign, State Senate (2014); president, Hamilton Bancorp, Inc.; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2016); state director, National Federation of Independent Business (2018-2021); deputy auditor general, audits, Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General (2021-present).
