BLODGET, John A., a Representative from Bedford County; born, circa 1798; attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1827-1828 and 1828-1829 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1829); elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1838); died, March 5, 1870 in Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred, Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
