FORE, Jacob, a Representative from Bedford County; born, 1761 in Hagerstown, Washington County, Md.; private, Cumberland County Troop, Pennsylvania Militia (1781-1782, Revolutionary War); cattle farmer; elected as a Democrat-Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1804-1805 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1805, 1806); reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1816-1817 and 1822-1823 terms; died, 1824 in McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
