SNIDER, Christian S., a Representative from Bedford County; born, March 2, 1784 in Bedford County, Pa.; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Morrison’s Cove (1821); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1824-1825 and 1825-1826 terms; reelected to the House for the 1836-1837 term; died, January 14, 1855 in West Brownsville, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bridgeport Cemetery, Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
