HUNTER, David, a Representative from Bedford County; born, 1781 in Westmoreland County, Pa.; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1821); elected as an Oppositionist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1835-1836 term; died, October 26, 1853 in Mississippi; interred, Big Spring Cemetery, Big Cove Tannery, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
